I took this picture of a beautiful historic home in our neighbourhood last night just before sunset. You can see the setting sun in the upper windows and I thought it would be a good image to practice HDR. Although it was taken without a tripod, I don’t think it came out too badly. I would love some feedback positive or negative 🙂
This was taken at sunrise on November 5, 2010, it was a 20 degrees day which is very warm for a winter day.
This was taken a month later and shows the Chinook Arch that develops over Calgary periodically during the winter. It brings in warm winds and mild temperatures.
This morning we headed to a Free Pancake Breakfast downtown. A good opportunity to take some photos of the clean architecture that I love. I like how the early morning sun peeks around the building and the metal artwork that reaches up to the sky. I don’t think they are particularly good shots but there is something about each one of them that appeals to me.
