Fall hasn’t quite hit our city yet so this is my perspective on this week’s challenge.
My quest to become at one with my camera.
The Weekly Photo Challenge has just been announced as “Fall” . I suppose it’s appropriate since today is the first day of fall except that it’s 29 degrees here and the leaves have not yet changed into the beautiful fall colours. Normally this would be a fairly easy challenge but I may have to be creative with one!
I took this picture of a beautiful historic home in our neighbourhood last night just before sunset. You can see the setting sun in the upper windows and I thought it would be a good image to practice HDR. Although it was taken without a tripod, I don’t think it came out too badly. I would love some feedback positive or negative
Yesterday we took a day trip to Waterton Lakes National Park. It’s the last official long weekend of summer so we wanted to make the most of the weather as it was a beautiful day and 27 degrees. It’s a great place to hike so we decided to hike up to Bertha Falls and then down to Bertha Lake. It was exhausting in the heat but it’s so beautiful there that its well worth it.
